Internazional SituationismAbstract
The essay’s aim is to analyze the International Situationism’s aesthetical and artistical aspects, paying particular attention to its first phase (1957-1962). Furthermore, all the major personalities and their influential efforts are delineated: Asger Jorn, Constant Nieuwenhuys and Pinot Gallizio, above all, as precursors of the ambiental and performative issues in the so called Second International Situationism’s practices. Therefore, the split of the Scandinavian group and its most representative efforts is related to the most recent participatory art practices.Downloads
