The essay retraces the most important stages of the doctoral research led by the author that focused on the relationship between the Land Art and the media, now published as a monograph. The article, based on the speech pronounced during the conference Monografia ancora? (Bologna, 22nd June 2017), dwells on the different answers given by the artists to the problem of the documentation and on the communication of their work to the public, outlining the methodological framework inside of which the study has been developed as well as the institutions, both national and international, in which the research has been accomplished.Downloads
