Igino Benvenuto Supino belongs to the small group of art historians and scientists which realized, in the end of XIX century, that the photography (understood as workshop, opportunity to a personal examination) might be able to help the knowledge about artistic heritage and contribute to the growth of Art History, a newbirth subject, and involvement related in research, educational and renovation.
